The Ghana Football Association has paid a warn tribute to former heavyweight Champion Muhammed Ali who passed on yesterday.

The celebrated boxer was hospitalized in Phoenix with respiratory problems earlier this week.

Muhammed Ali who goes down as the greatest boxer of all time passed on at age 74.

The Ghana Football Association could not exclude themselves from the list of people who showed respect to the renowned boxer who won three heavyweight titles.

“Ghana FA mourns legend Muhammad Ali who died today. He visited our country. (Pix with Prez Kwame Nkrumah) RIP,” the tweeted.

The former American boxer was known for being an inspiring, controversial and polarizing figure both inside and outside the boxing ring.

Ali visited Ghana during the reign of ex-President Kwame Nkrumah.
