GFA expresses dismay at media reports

Accra, Nov 6, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has expressed dismay at media reports on the 25th week Premier League match between Accra Hearts of Oak and Brong Ahafo United at the Sunyani Coronation Park on November 2.

A statement signed by Mr Kofi Nsiah General Secretary of the GFA said it has asked the Disciplinary Committee, the Professional League Board (PLB) and the Referees Appointment Committee to meet immediately to deal with violence at the venue.

The statement therefore requested referees John Atikese, J Dawson-Amoah and Anim- Nyarko and match commissioner JK Nkrumah of Kumasi to stand by for any assistance.

The General Secretary also urged the security agencies to deal accordingly with all lawbreakers at the league centers.
