GFA condoles with Bafana Bafana

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has sent a condolence message to first division campaigners, Bafana Bafana on the death of their players and officials in a motor accident.

A statement signed by Mr Ampin Darko, Acting General secretary of the GFA said the association has learnt with great shock, the fatal accident involving players and officials of the team while returning from a league match against Cape Coast Venomous Vipers.

The Acting General Secretary conveyed the association's condolences to the families of the bereaved and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Takoradi based Bafana Bafana had beaten Vipers 2-0 at Cape Coast in a Metro Division One league matches on Sunday, September 30. It is feared that five members of the squad lost their lives in the accident, while several others sustained various degrees of injuries.
