GFA bans TV, video coverage of FA cup final without permission

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) said on Friday that television or video coverage of Sunday's FA Cup final between Kotoko and King Faisal at the Accra Sports Stadium was prohibited.

A GFA statement in Accra read: "The Ghana Football Association wishes to inform the general public, particularly media houses, that television/video coverage, either live, delayed or clips of the finals of the FA Cup between Kotoko and King Faisal at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday December 9, is prohibited.

"Any media house or person that wishes to cover the match must obtain written permission from the GFA. Whoever contravenes this notice shall face legal action."
