GFA appoints new travel and tour firm

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has dropped African Origin Travel and Tours and replaced them with Excellent Favour Travel and Tours to send Ghanaian supporters to Turkey for next month's Fifa Under-20 World Cup, Goal Ghana understands.

This comes in the wake of alleged poor services rendered by Africa Origin Travel and Tours to Ghanaian fans and journalists, who went to cover the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, which saw some of them being physically assaulted by "macho men" and others left stranded.

Excellent Favour Travel and Tours have branches in Kumasi and Accra.

The Ghana FA is likely to give them the CHAN tournament next year in South Africa and the World Cup in Brazil should Ghana qualify.
