GFA Secures Residence For Stars Coach

The continuous stay of foreign national coaches in hotels whenever they are contracted by the Ghana Football Association is now a closed chapter. The GFA together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports have now secured a residential facility for Millan Zivadinovic.

The Yugoslav, who has been housed in a hotel since his arrival in Ghana at the expense of the Ghanaian tax payer would be moving into his new home when he arrives from Belgrade by Sunday.

The house was made available by a Ghanaian investor free of charge. Details of the agreement are yet to be made public but JOYonline can confirm that the arrangement is for a two-year period.

Sources hinted that FA might even not be surcharged for the usage of utilities except that of telecommunication.

Ghana’s sports authorities over the years have failed to put in place permanent residential facilities for all national coaches, a situation, which saw former, Black Stars coach, Guiseppe Dossena staying in a hotel for almost a year on his two-year stay.
