Frimpong considers Serie A move

Italian agent Andrea Manfredonia, who represents Ghana international, Emmanuel Frimpong, is weighing up a move for his client in the Serie A.

The 22-year-old former Arsenal player moved to Barnsley in January but has since been released following their relegation to the League One.

The Fifa agent believes Frimpong appeals to the Italian top-flight.

“For a 22-year-old boy he has plenty of experience,” Manfredonia told Gianlucadimarzio.

“He’s a very interesting player who could come in handy for several of Italy’s bigger clubs. It’s a great transfer market opportunity, because he is out of a contract and holds a British passport.”

He added: “We’re proposing him to teams across Europe, he is certainly a great bargain on the market.”
