Champion Club Accra Hearts of Oak on Wednesday piped division One League campaigners, Ebusua Dwarfs by a lone goal in a friendly match played at the Accra Sports Stadium. The two sides played a compact game, which hardly created a clear cut chance, except on a few occasions, when Hearts' leading marksmen, Bernard Don Bortey, Wisdom Abbey and Massawudu Mumuni failed to convert their chances.

Dwarfs on the other hand suffered the same handicap as their attackers also lacked the needed finishing to make use of the few chances that came their way.

The deadlock was, however, broken in the 83rd minute when substitute William Gbedzeke squeezed a goal after displacing the Dwarfs keeper with a pass from substitute Awudu Adama.
