Frank Boahene lauds GFA for organizing Pitch Maintenance Seminar

Pitch expert Frank Boahene has patted the Ghana Football Association for organizing a recent seminar in the country to improve football pitches.

The two-day event was organized by the GFA in collaboration with FIFA which ended last Friday at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence.

“A journey of a thousand mile begins with a step. It is good that the GFA has taken the initiative to bring somebody from Fifa to impact his knowledge to my fellow Ghanaians,” Boahene, who is Managing Director of Green Grass Technology, told Class FM Sports.

“With education and by bringing other sectors onboard such as agronomist and agriculturalist, this initiative will bring the other agencies on board to help develop world class pitches.”
