Asante Kotoko have secured a one-year sponsorship deal with Forms Capital for the club's Player of the Month award.

The sponsorship deal was sealed between management and a reputable finance company, Forms Capital on Friday.

Under the agreement, Kotoko by brand association and other things spelt out in the contract, will give mileage to Forms Capital.

The sponsor will in return offer cash prize and a trophy to the player of the month.

Asantekotokosc.com is not permitted to disclose the cash prize but it’s a reasonably good amount of money.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Forms Capital, William Arthur and General Manager, Opoku Nti signed contract documents at the club secretariat.

The Player of the Month Award Scheme was launched in August last year with managers of Kotoko App – Jimatech been behind it.

With a new sponsor on board, the scheme has been enriched as the winner will enjoy prizes from both Forms Capital and JimaTech.

Operations Manager, George Kennedy, who disclosed this in an interview said, management were bent on giving Kotoko the best.

He said Kotoko’s relationship with Forms Capital has come at the right time.

He explained that the award scheme was to motivate the players and appreciate their hard work at the same time.

The Head of Operations and Credit Risk Management at Forms Capital, Benjamim Twum also described their union with Kotoko as important.

"The two institutions will mutually benefit from this relationship. We're looking forward to an excellent affair. What we’ve come in with is good and already we know what Kotoko represent," he said.
