Five hand Meteors timely boost

Five foreign-based players have provided Black Meteors coach David Duncan with further options for the 2012 London Olympics qualifying by confirming their arrival ahead of the crucial game against Sudan.

Ghana need to overturn a first leg 1-0 loss to Sudan to ensure their place in the next stage in the qualifiers when both sides clash in Khartoum on Saturday.

Ransford Osei, Samuel Affum, Jonathan Mensah, Daniel Addo and David Addy have all confirmed their participation for the return leg.

All five would join the rest of the squad in Khartoum for the reverse clash in the second-round qualifier.

Black Meteors coach David Duncan can also count on the availability of striker Saddick Adams and Finland-based Quincy Osei who have both been training with the squad in Accra.
