Recovered Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah appears to be hitting top form after impressing in Juventus 2-1 win at AC Milan on Saturday.

The 27-year-old has endured a frustrating five months on the sidelined due to a problematic injury.

It's been hellish and heart-wrenching for the Ghana international, whose rather fine career has been blighted with recurrent injuries.

But Asamoah played 84 minutes for the Italian champions in their 2-1 win at AC Milan to maintain their seven points lead at the summit of the table with five games to end the season.

Despite concerns about his substitution, but Juventus have moved quickly to allay fears by insisting the former Udinese star is fit.

It should serve as a massive boost for both club and country as Asamoah remains a key member of the Ghana national team.

The ex-Liberty Professionals midfielder is hailed as the best player in the current Ghana squad amid an injury crisis which has rocked his explosive career.

He has not played for Ghana in over a year but should be available for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon next year January.
