Fifa refix Ghana-Lesotho date

Ghana will play its final 2010 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho at the Sekondi Stadium on 11 October instead of the earlier 12 October date. The directive is to avert reports of match-fixing after the final round of games.

Ghana had planned to play on a traditional Sunday but will now have to settle on a Saturday.

The winners of the 12 groups and eight second place best teams progress to the next stage of the qualifiers.
