Fiamenyo wins FCPB Premier League Player of the Month

Hearts of Oak striker Gilbert Fiamenyo has been announced as the First Capital Plus Bank Ghana Premier League player of the month for January – the first player to win the award since its institution.

The 22-year-old has been in inspired scoring form for the Phobians side so far this season scoring 5 goals in four matches.

That included a brace against Medeama, as well as a match-winning hat trick against Medeama on week III.

His solitary strike gave Hearts the win in their opener against WAFA.

Fiamenyo was rewarded a cheque for GHS 500 (US$ 200) by the league’s title sponsor First Capital Plus Bank.
