‘Feel proud of Hearts of Oak’

Former Management and Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Hearts has asked the playing body to feel proud for playing for the Club, an action he believes, will impact positively in their performance. “Most players come to Hearts because the club wanted them and they did not really want to play for us, and once that sets in all they think about is money first”.

“But I want to assure them that if they give their all to the club, the Phobia spirit will follow and protect them in their future assignments as footballers.” He said Hearts of Oak is the greatest Club in Ghana and any player who has the rare opportunity to play for Hearts should feel honored because it is a good addition to their CV.

“I keep saying that if you serve Hearts of Oak well as a player, you get good benefits once you are no more a player with the Club and there are many examples that I can give.”

“Indeed it’s because of money that they are playing, but that should not always be their motivation. The fact that they are Hearts of Oak players alone is enough motivation because if they do well, they are going to go very far in their career.”
