Former Hearts of Oak board member Fawaz Zowk has predicted the Phobians could be relegated from the Ghanaian top-flight next season.

The 2000 African champions and 2004 CAF Confederation Cup title-winners escaped relegation from the Ghanaian top-flight by the skin of their teeth last season.

And, the club's current board and management has come under intensive criticism from fans and old management and board members for their lack of knowledge on the job.

Zowk, a business tycoon in Ghana, has predicted the Phobians stand the risk of being relegated from the Ghanaian top-flight for the first time in their history.

"Looking at the way things are going, you don’t need a rocket scientist to tell you Hearts is heading towards relegation. Last season we were just two goals away from relegation, and that is dangerous," he told Kumasi-based Otec FM.

Hearts' current majority shareholder Togbe Afede XIV is under pressure to leave the club as fans and old management have fingered him for the club's abysmal showing in recent season.
