Fatau confident struggling Ashgold will bounce back next season

Ashantigold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has vowed his side will bounce back next season.

The champions have endured a rather poor campaign this season after recording only four wins so far.

The miners are out of the title race as they occupy 11th on the table with only 26 points.

But goalkeeper Fatau Dauda is confident the side will return stronger next season.

“This season hasn’t been good for us. But I know next season will be better. We will surely bounce back next season,” he told Ghana Sports newspaper.

“Before the start of the season we told ourselves we wanted to defend the title but things haven’t gone as we expected.

“But I want to assure our fans that we will bounce back and make them happy next season.”
