Farewell Letter from Burkhard Ziese

Hi ladies and gentlemen,
I arrived safely at my home in Germany today, Sunday the 7th Sept. Last late afternoon when I left with Lufthansa via Frankfurt to Cologne. I handed over the official car as well as the mobil telephone to my driver to give it tomorrow to Mr. Joe Aggrey, the Dep. Minister since I do not trust the GFA at all. The car did not belong to the GFA but to the Ministry and the mobil to Ben Koufie.

In the next few days I have a lot of work to do. Filing the report with all the proven documents to FIFA and I will also try to give you in detail all the documents to prove to Ghana who was wrong and who was entirely responsible for the non qualification for Tunisia 2004..

The file compiled by me consists of 202 !! pages. But for the betterment of Ghana football I left copies of ALL THIS WITH A LADY FROM GNA and another senior sports editor of the Ghanian Times.

I am waiting for your answers and comments. Please write to me since it may well be possible that I am Ghana by the next weekend pending on some results of two local top teams.

Regards to all those who really love Ghana like me and to those who want to make sure that Ghana football and their coaches will become better and no more corrupt, as even Ben Koufie mentioned it last week. But how can he "close an eye on that?" He is once again responsible for the corruption since some coaches who have taken bribes were appointed by him. He is therefore part of the corruption or is he even directly "involved." I leave it up to you to find out. He and many others of the GFA, even amongst the GFA staff have to go!

Why is he saying he will not be involved in the selection of the next coach? Because he knows that he will not be re-elected in October and he wants to put the sole blame now already on the new GFA and especially Abedi Pele! He wants to become the next GFA Technical Director, which actually means he will have absolutely no responsibilty, look athe five 5-year developement plan for which is solely responsible, but he can than always accuse others for their non-performance if the players won't do well. But when will the players be held responsible for their non-performance. In Ghana NEVER!
