Fans to park at the Independence Square

Accra, Aug. 28, GNA- The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the National Sports Council has allocated the Independence Square as the new parking lot for all football loving fans before and during football matches at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A statement signed by Mr Charles James Aryeh, Head of Public Relations at the NSC said the excises which begins this Sunday is aimed at decongesting the stadium premises and to ensure maximum safety of all vehicles.

The statement said the new place which will attract a three thousand cedis fee with a receipt covering it will have adequate security measures put in place to protect all vehicles.

The statement therefore appealed to all vehicle owners to co-operate to make the new arrangement fruitful and worthwhile 28 Aug, 2003
