Faisal suspends two players

Accra, July 4, GNA - The Management of Kumasi-based Premiership side, King Faisal has suspended its captain Iddrisu Yahaya and defender Richard Adjei for gross indiscipline and other various offences. The players who have been suspended indefinitely played an integral role for Faisal as they survived relegation in the just ended soccer season.

Nana Oduro Sarfo, Accra Representative of the Club who disclosed this to the GNA Sports on Wednesday said the two players have consistently exhibited gross indiscipline and lukewarm attitude towards training.

He also alleged that the two players are flirting with an unnamed Club whilst still on contract with their mother Club, which he described as a breach of contract.

Allegations are rife that the two players are said to be keen on joining another club, but the management of Faisal is yet to decide on that, with newly promoted Kessben FC ranking high on their destination. Yahaya was promoted as captain of the Club after the departure of Shilla Illiasu to Kumasi Asante Kotoko last year He is one of experienced players in the Faisal set up and has close to six seasons with Faisal, while Adjei has been consistent at the rear during the last three seasons.
