Faisal resorted to delay tactics – Duncan

Hearts of Oak coach David Duncan has hit hard at King Faisal for resorting to delay tactics in the second half of their crunch Ghana league encounter on Sunday.

The former Ashantigold coach believes it was a deliberate effort by the Kumasi-based side to kill all the time and return with a point which they succeeded in doing.

“Faisal did not want to play in the second half, they were always on the ground playing delay tactics and it worked for them to get a draw,” Duncan stated after the 1-1 draw game.

“In the second half, the time played was far less because of the delay tactics they played. We must now get our acts together and focus to win our next games.”

The draw was the second time Hearts of Oak have dropped points this season with the first one being their 2-1 loss to Asante Kotoko.
