Faisal Protests Against Bofoakwa

Kumasi based King Faisal has lodged a formal protest with the GFA Disciplinary committee against Bofoakwa Tano,for the wearing of an unapproved hose in their league match played at the sunyani coronation park last sunday.

Speaking to Sky Sports in sunyani,Mr.Oduro Sarfo, general secretary of King Faisal said, "We drew the attention of the match commissioner when we realise Bofoakwa was wearing a similar hose to that of King Faisal which was our away strips during pre-match conference.

The Match commissioner asked Bofoakwa to change into their alternative colour and make it known to all at the conference but,the executives of Bofoakwa said they were not ready to disclose their colours until 3pm on the pitch.

I drew the attention of Alhaji Grunsah when i saw Bofo in a blue/white hose during kick off,because i knew those colours were not registered at the FA".He said

Mr Sarfo said they are appealing to the Fa to award King Faisal the maximum three points and declare Bofoakwa losers.

The game played in sunyani ended in goaless with the two teams squandering lot of chances.
