Face lift of Techiman Park nears completion

The first phase of the adapted home ground of promoted Premier League side Techiman City has been completed.

The first phase which comprises of the pitch and the stands was completed today as fans of the Techiman-based club gears up for the upcoming season.

Techiman City’s promotion is been challenged as Wa African United owner alleged that his side played a match of convenience with the Techiman-based club during the Division One League campaign last season.

Despite the internal legal wranglings, Techiman City are leaving no stone unturned as they are putting final touches at their adapted home grounds with the only work left to be done at the stadium being the dress room, the VIP section and the press box.

The face lift of the Techiman Park is under the auspices of the Members of Parliament for Techiman North and South, and the Techiman Municipal Assembly as well as the Techiman Traditional Council.
