FIFA Ranking: Ghana's fall Continues

...Eagles, Falcons remain Africa?s best
Four time African Champions, Black Stars of Ghana continued their fall, in Africa on the FIFA ladder for the month of December, sliding down two steps to 77.

Nigeria?s Super Eagles maintained their top ranking in Africa - the Eagles remaining on 21st position, same as last month.

No African country made FIFA?s top 20 as second placed Cameroon dropped one step to now occupy the 23rd position, leaving Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, South Africa, Cote d?Ivoire in the 33rd ,34th ,35th, 38th and 40th positions respectively.

Mali at 51st and Zimbabwe at 60th make Africa?s top 10 teams.

In the female category, Black Queens of Ghana also slipped one step to place 50 while the ladies from Morocco, South Africa and Cameroon rank 54, 73 and 82 respectively. Super Falcons of Nigeria leads the pack, despite dropping one step to now rank 24th in the world.

World Champions, Brazil retained their number one spot ahead of France and Argentina as Czech Republic displaced Spain from the 4th position. Mexico also pushed England down to the 8th position while Portugal and Italy make up the top 10 countries.
