Expect me soon-Stephen Tetteh

Former Hearts of Oak intelligent libero Stephen Tetteh has told “Where are they?”
that he is putting pieces together to bounce back soonest in a unique fashion.

In an interview with Happy FM’s Charles Osei Asibey this morning, he gave reasons
to his long absence from the pitch to injury . However, he gave the assurance that
he is recuperating at a very fast rate, and promised to return as soon as possible.
Tetteh, now based in the United States of America revealed that he is not quitting
football yet stating, “Michael Essien, Charles Taylor and others were my playing
mates and are still playing, so it tells you that I can still play.”

He mentioned in the interview that there are still good defenders in the system, but
they need to work on their self confidence to meet the mark he and others has set.
Reacting to whether he regretted the serving the Phobian family, he noted that: “It
is an honour to serve any of the country’s glamorous clubs- Hearts or Kotoko, so I
deem it as an honour.”
According to Tetteh, he did not reach his full potential as a player due to injury
but quoted his former manager’s sage counsel Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio; “When
there is life, there is hope.”
He said that he has put his exclusion from the national U-20 squad(Satellites)
behind him although it was one of his painful experiences as a player.
Tetteh pointed out that he is in constant touch with the Gbese Mantse Nii
Ayibontey(Tommy Okine) and expressed profound gratitude to Alhaji Abu Sodonko for
his support.
