Ex-GFA Chairman criticizes mad rush for positions

Former GFA Chairman Dr. Nyaho Tamaklo has raised concern about the number of new candidates who have picked up forms to contest in next month’s FA executive Committee elections.

JOY Sports sources say 12 people have picked up nomination for six places allotted Premier league clubs on the 23 man executive committee.

Berekum Chelsea owner Emmanuel Kyeremah, Moses Armah, Emmanuel Owusu Ansah, Felix Ansong, Kofi Maanu, Hearts of Oak CEO, Fred Crentsil and Desmond Frimpong Manso are all new faces hoping to be elected to the executive committee.

Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe says the mad rush only goes to confirm the suspicion of personal gains made by members of the GFA Executive Committee.'Some of these contestants are obviously not rich and see the executive committee as an avenue to make some money, this is dangerous to our football administration" Nyaho said.
