Everton Target Appiah

Juventus star Stephan Appiah has emerged as possible transfer target for Everton.

The Ghana midfielder looks set to be made available for transfer by Juventus, which has led to both Middlesbrough and Birmingham registering an interest. David Moyes - planning for an inaugural campaign in the UEFA Champions League next season - is now looking at a number of players to bolster his ranks.

Appiah is a defensive midfielder and appeals to Moyes - although he also has his eyes on Internazionale's Emre, while loanee Mikel Arteta could yet make his switch to Goodison Park permanent.
