Eto’o, other African greats set to honour Kuffour Testimonial

PSLsoccergh.com can exclusively reveal that some of Africa’s biggest known football names have confirmed to honour Sammy Kuffour’s historic testimonial by coming down to play in the big game in Kumasi on December 23.

Cameroonian star and four time Africa Footballer of the year Samuel Eto’O Fils leads the field of African legends to have confirmed their participation for next month’s commemoration match. Also coming are Nigerian skills master Jay Jay Okocha, South Africa’s 1996 Africa Cup of Nations winning defender Mark Fish, former Cameroon captain Rigobert Song, former Bafana Bafana striker Shaun Bartlett, former Super Eagles midfield powerhouse Daniel ‘The Bull’ Amokachi, Sierra Leone captain Mohammed Kallon and many others.

These African greats are expected to team up with other international stars most notably Kuffour’s former Bayern Munich teammates to play against the Black Stars for whom Kuffour made 59 appearances during his illustrious career.

Meanwhile, we can also reveal that leading Ghanaian sports presenter Yaw Ampofo Ankrah and TV3 News anchoress Nana Aba Anamoah will be MCs at the Sammy Kuffour dinner on the night after the match in Kumasi.
