Essandoh's Father Cannot Watch Him

Wycombe's FA Cup hero Roy Essandoh is facing up to a lonely weekend after his dear old dad failed to get a visa which would allow him to travel from Ghana to watch his son turn out for the Chairboys against Liverpool....

The FA Cup hero, who was drafted in after an appeal on the BBC Ceefax service, says British immigration officials have told his father Richard, who lives in Accra, there is no chance he will get a visa in time for the club's FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool.
