End Of The Road For Jones Attuquayefio?

The journey has ended and after a single victory in five matches, losing three and a draw, Cecil Jones Attuquayefio is no more in charge of the Black Stars. A letter terminating his relationship with the Black Stars was expected to be handed over to him by the FA yesterday.

Cecil Jones, who has publicly stated that he has no contract with the Black Stars and that his employers is still Accra Hearts of Oak is thus expected to join Hearts of Oak for the World Club Championships to be hosted by Spain. For now it is not known as to who would be the next coach but it is expected that Fred Osam Doudu would be brought back as a stop gap measure to stir the affairs of Ghana’s CAN 2002 qualification as the World Cup dream for now appears to have fizzled out.
