Emmanuel Frimpong hits back at Piers Morgan's Arsenal jibes on Twitter

The Gunners midfielder, who was sent-off in the 2-0 against Liverpool on Saturday, didn’t take kindly to the CNN host’s jibes about the current state of affairs at the Emirates, and shouted the 46-year-old down on the social network.

‘U should be ashamed to call urself an arsenal fan all u do is moan about ur team y don't u do ur job and i will do mine,’ said Frimpong, after another rant from Morgan.

The former editor of the Daily Mirror quickly replied: ‘Easy, Tiger. Try winning some games (when you're allowed to play again) and trust me, my mood will soon improve.’

Morgan then managed to successfully sooth the feisty youngster; with Frimpong later admitting he found the America’s Got Talent judge both ‘annoying and funny’.

Morgan is also part of a war of words with Manchester United’s Twitter heavyweights Rio Ferdinand and Michael Owen, as well as Newcastle’s controversial social networker Joey Barton.
