El-wak sports stadium to be closed down in a few weeks to allow renovation works goes on. According to deputy lieutenant colonel Comfort Ankamah of Ghana armd forces, the stadium has been given to a renowned contractor to work on it, and any time the contractor is ready it will be closed down.

This happens to be bad news for Accra Hearts of Oak, who are using the stadium for their onetouch top4 matches. The stadium has received a lot of public out-cry recently for the poor nature of the stands and the pictch and there is the need for renovation.
