Efutu Citrus reap goal harvest

Cape Coast, June 18, GNA - Efutu Citrus F/C reaped goal harvest when they thrashed Ankaful Liberty Rainbow 5-0 in their Central Region Division Two league match played at the Mfantsipim Senior High School sports grounds on Monday.

Citrus F/C led 2-0 at half time.

On resumption, Citrus F/C continued to dictate the pace of the game and scored three more goals through midfielder, Samuel Anokye who got a brace (2) and outside right Eric Sessah adding another to seal the doom of Liberty Rainbow.

Results of other league matches were, Oguaa United F/C beat Nsamka F/C 2-1, Abreshia United F/C pipped Adisadel Great Astronomers 1-0, Agona Abrem Shalom F/C beat Jukwa Surowi 2-1 with Dunkwa-On-Offin Real Republicans trouncing Kushea Owirenkyiman 4-0.

Assin Adiembra United Stars beat Dunkwa-On-Offin Starke 2-0, Adansi Praso WAECO F/C whipped Denkyira United F/C 3-1, Saltpond Kampsite F/C drew goalless with Odonase Schalke O4 and Edumfa Galaxy F/C also drew 0-0 with Saltpond Mighty Victory.

Mankessim Striking Force drew 2-2 with Saltpond Brondby F/C, Mankoadze Asaase F/C were humiliated with a 1-4 loss to Nyanyano Proud United, Buduburam F/C lost 1-2 to Akotsi Jenaak F/C, Kasoa 24-Seven United trounced Obrachire Queen Annah F/C 5-0 with Tuba Metro Stars spanking Kasoa Perrank F/C 2-0.
