Head coach for New Edubiase, Anthony Commey, believes poor officiating cost his side three points at the Wa Sports stadium.

The head coach vented his anger on the match officials for denying his side a well-deserved point at the Wa Park.

New Edubiase lost the game by a lone goal despite a missed penalty from Ismail Ganiu.

According to Commey, “I think we lost the game because of poor officiating by the officials. I do not like talking about officials but this was too much for us.

“Our boys were brought down in the 18 yard box twice but he didn’t give us any penalty and anytime we move forward, he stops the game.

“He didn’t allow my boys to play, which is not fair. Let them play to win. It was a good game though from my boys.”

Emmanuel Ocran got the only goal from a rebound after Ismail Ganiu had his spot-kick saved by Ben Mensah in post for the “Yenko nkoaa boys”.

Wa All stars maintained their home invincibility with the slim 1-0 win at the Wa Park to make it seven consecutive league matches without conceding a single goal.

Jimmy Cobblah’s charges now move into 5th place with 38 points to their name as they head to Kumasi for the clash with Kotoko.
