Ebusua Dwarfs draw with Accra Hearts of Oak

Cape Coast, Aug.23, GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs on Sunday, played a spectacular game to hold Accra Hearts of Oak to pulsating 1-1 draw in a friendly soccer match at the Cape Coast Sports stadium. The teeming supporters of the home team, cheered them on amid drumming and singing of asafo songs, but were 'silenced' as early as in the 10th minute when Hearts' inside left, Ajebu Lawson scored the opener in a goal-mouth scramble.

Parading players of the likes of Don Bortey, Eric Nyarko, Kwabena Boafo and Dan Oppong, Hearts dictated the pace of the game with sweet flowing combination to end the first half in their favour.

The second half saw Dwarfs on the warpath pinning Hearts into their own half and rightly equalised in the 55th minute, when full back Ekow Ghansah after collecting a pass, overlapped and sent in a pile driver to the blind side of goalkeeper Mohammed Sani in the post for Hearts.

The match, sponsored by Miksi, a product line of Promasidor Ghana Limited was used to outdoor two sets of Jersey and 24 pairs of boots being part of a 130 million cedi sponsorship package from the company.
