Dwarfs win friendly against Fair Point

Cape Coast, July 24, GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs brought smiles back to the faces of their supporters, when they beat newly promoted first division side, Tema Fair Point F/C 3-1 in a friendly match played at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium on Sunday. The match, which formed part of preparations by Dwarfs for the 2006 division one league, produced a lot of thrills from the players of both clubs.

Dwarfs scored the opener, through midfielder Kobena Agyeman in the 28th minute, but the Tema boys managed to level up through Derek Amevor before half time.

On resumption, Dwarfs' playmaker Ekow Aikins was shown the red card for a second bookable offence, but the reduction in their numerical strength, did not affect them as they scored two more goals through Ibrahim Malik and Emmanuel Boateng to bring the fulltime score to 3-1 in their favour.
