Dwarfs to get punishment halved

Footy-ghana.com understands that the 12-home match ban imposed on Dwarfs by the Ghana Football Association following crowd violence during the match day 19 clash between Dwarfs and Aduana Stars in Cape Coast is set to be halved.

According to well-placed footy-ghana.com sources, Dwarfs will see their home match ban reduced to six matches, with the fine of GH¢20,000 also halved to GH¢10,000.

Footy-ghana.com understands that the decision to reduce the level of Dwarfs’ punishment follows the club’s 1-2 loss to Mighty Jets in Dansoman over the weekend; a result that has lifted Mighty Jets out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

That game was the first home match ban served by Dwarfs.
