Dwarfs hold AshantiGold to a goalless draw

Cape Coast, Sept. 9, GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs played a highly determined game to hold Obuasi AshantiGold to a goalless drawn game in a friendly football match at the Cape Coast Sports stadium on Wednesday.

AshantiGold parading some of their first team players made up of Ofosu Amoah, Shaibu Yakubu, Alfred Arthur and Kofi Amoah dictated the pace of the game right from the blast of the referee.

They came close to scoring in the 20th and 25th minutes but Iddi Musah in the posts for Dwarfs saved the many scoring chances delivered by the attackers as well as shots delivered by midfielder, Yakubu. From the 30th minute onwards, Dwarfs warmed themselves into the game and matching their opponents boot for boot until the end of the first half no score for either side.

The second half saw both teams playing it hard to carry the day but try as they did, they could not find the net until the full time. 9 Sept. 04
