Duncan targets AS Roma scalp in Serie A clash

Ghana youth international midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan is confident of Sassuolo’s chances of upsetting AS Roma in their Serie A clash on Sunday afternoon.

The 22-year-old is expected to start his fourth game of the season for i Neroverdi as they play guest to Roma at Stadio Olimpico and he has targeted winning against them.

Sassuolo and Roma are tie on seven points in 6th and 5th place respectively and neither of the side have tasted defeat since the start of the season.

And, Duncan, who graduated through the youth ranks at Inter Milan, has expressed optimism about his side’s chances of beating Roma.

“We expect a tough game on Sunday, Roma are growing and they are aiming high. We want to play our game and grow in terms of tactics,” Duncan told Sassuolo’s website.

“We are physically and mentally prepared for the encounter. We will go there to play a great match. They have a very large amount of good players, we will have to keep an eye on everyone.”
