Dreams FC thrash Prestige 3-1 to go second in Zone 3

Dreams FC returned to winning ways on Saturday as they beat Prestige FC 3-1 at Kweiman in the national Division One League.

The newly promoted side who tasted their first defeat of the season last weekend against Pure Joy Stars at Prampram displayed a fine performance to the admiration of the many fans that thronged the Kweiman Presby Primary School Park to record a well deserved victory.

Abdul Basit, Abdul Razak and Black Meteors striker Cudjoe Mensah scored for Dreams to help the team to their third home win of the campaign.

Dreams FC headed into the game with seven points from four games sitting third in the zone Three table. But the result will take them to second in the League table with one point deficient of Real Atletico which beat King Solomon3-1 at the Tema Park on Saturday.

Striker Abdul Razak Khalid who was one of the scorers on the afternoon was adjudged the best player of the match. The hardworking attacker thus wins the accolade for the second time in the season after capping a fine display against Kotoku Royals to win his first individual award of the campaign.
