Dreams FC name Commey club physiotherapist

Dreams Football Club has announced the appointment of James Commey-Bortsie as the club’s new Physiotherapist.

The German-trained masseur and sports physiotherapist’s appointment fall in line with the club’s vision of strengthening all departments to nurture and produce world class talents in the sport.

Commey-Bortsie comes into the job with a worth of experience both home and abroad.

His responsibilities include making physical assessments and treatments of players, prompt pain reduction response especially in training and in matches and also preside over the rehabilitation of injured players.

Administrative Manager of Dreams Football Club Ameenu Shardow hailed the appointment of the experienced physiotherapist as a further step in the onward march of the club’s ambition to attain excellence on all fronts.

“We are very happy to have an experienced hand like Mr. Commey-Bortsie joining the club,” he told www.dreamsfc.com.

“The medical needs of our playing staff is of ultimate importance to us and we believe these needs are being catered for especially with the arrival of Mr. Commey-Bortsie.

“His training, proven track record and experience made him the obvious choice for this club and we are happy to have him with us.”

Mr. Commey-Bortsie has prior experience working with clubs in the Ghanaian top flight having worked with the likes of Hearts of Oak, Sekondi Eleven Wise and Hasaacas.
He also worked with the Ghana U23 national team (the Black Meteors) in 1974.
