After Aduana Stars' historic feat of winning the premier league in their debut season, the life patron of the club and Omanhene of the Dormaah Traditional area Osagyefo Oseadeayo Agyeman Badu II has rewarded the entire team including confering honorary citizenship on each member.

Aduana stars who have been exceptional this season after winning the league and consequently sweeping majority of awards during the Glo PLB awards night as expected, must feel highly elated with the gesture shown by the King. In the rewarding package, the team was given a whooping amount of GH¢ 20,000 to be shared amongst the entire playing body, management and technical team. Each winning member of the team would be given a plot of land at an area of his choice with a 3 bedroom apartment being developed up to foundation level under the initiation of the charismatic king.

To make the historic record linger in the minds of the generation to come, the Dormaahene has also asked for the photographs of each member of the team to be taken and together with a plaque made in their honour put at the premises of the Dormaah Traditional Council as a symbol of remembrance.

Meanwhile, a major street in the Dormaah Ahenkro township would be named after the team but the operations director of the club Mr. George Gyau in an interview disclosed the exact name is yet to be thought of. About the clubs's participation in the CAF champions league, Mr. Gyau insisted the team is ever ready to play in Africa's elite club competition with work underway to construct a min-stadium to meet the standards of the Confederation of African Football at Dormaah before the start of the Competition.

Aduana Stars became the first Ghanaian premier league side to win the league in their first year of participation, including a record of not conceding in 15 home games.
