Medeama coach Tom Strand has named youngster Dominic Eshun in his starting line-up, four clear hours before his side's CAF Confederation Cup tie against Al Ittihad on Sunday.

The Swedish trainer has kept faith with his trusted charges ahead of the crucial tie against the Libyan side.

Eshun replaces Bernard Ofori, who was unable to make the trip.

The youngster will play behind trickery Benjamin Bature in attack.

Captain Muntari Tagoe maintains his place as the safest pair of hands with Samuel Adade expected to operate from the right-back.

Moses Sarpong maintains his place on the left-back with experienced Paul Aidoo and youngster Daniel Amoah forming the centre-backs.

Versatile Malik Akowuah will provide shield for the back four and will be supported by Kwesi Donsu in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Eric Kwakwa will operate from the heart of the park with pocket-size dribbling wizard Kwame Boahene expected to cause mayhem for the Ittihad defenders.

Benjamin Bature will operate as the arrowman and will use his speed and skills to cause damage in attack.
