Ebusua Dwarfs head coach J.E Sarpong has described the 2014/15 GN Bank Division One League Awards as spurious for excluding coaches.

The second-tier league board announced nominees for the first ever awards ceremony without a category for coaches in November.

It is aimed at recognising and awarding players, officials and clubs who excelled in the 2014/15 edition of the GN Bank Division One League.

It is scheduled to come off on Saturday, 12th December, 2015 at the Coconut Groove Hotel in Accra.

“I don’t fancy categories of awards in this country because they are wishy- washy something. I don’t focus on them but rather do my work to reflect who I am”, coach Sarpong told Empire Sports.
