Division 2: Rangers and Bago FC drew 3-3

Cape Coast Feb.27, GNA - Kasoa Bago FC fought from a three goals deficit at half time to hold Agona Swedru Rangers to a 3-3 drawn game in their Central Region second division sub - middle league match played at the Cape Coast sports stadium on Thursday.

Rangers dominated the greater part of the first half and deservedly hit the net thrice before the end of the first half.

From the blast of the whistle, Rangers dictated the pace of the game and opened the scoring through midfielder, Gabriel Nurro in the 12th minute.

The early goal gave them the tonic to probe for more goals and in the 60th and 69th minutes, centre half, Randy Osei and outside right, Isaac Lartey, scored a goal each to bring the half time score to 3-0 in favour of Rangers.

Bago FC came back strongly in the second half and marched their opponents boot for boot it was not until the 78th minute when their left half back Seidu Sani pulled a goal back through a spot kick in the 87th minute.

From then on, Bago FC took absolute control of the game and pinned their opponents into their own half and deservedly got their second goal the 83rd minute through their right half back, Ahmed Bashiru to reduce the tally to 3-2.

Bashiru who played a yeoman's game brought the smiles back on the faces of their supporters when he leveled up matters with a header in the 89th minute to bring the two teams at par.
