Desailly gets to work on license A badge

Marcel Desailly spent time last week working on a UEFA license A coaching badge in Wales.

The former France international who has an eye on becoming the new Ghana coach was busy at polishing his yet to be tested coaching skills but the revelation that he only took license A badge last week will surprise those convinced all along that he had completed the full range of coaching courses.

Desailly joined the likes of Craig Bellamy and former German internationals Dietmar Hamman for the course.

The official website of the World Football Trust who run the course say the license A program “aims to educate candidates in the technical, tactical, physical and mental requirements of modern football, enabling them to organise coaching sessions; a skill sure to come in handy for Desailly who is in the running to become the Ghana football team manager.”
