Denart Soccer Academy visit Red Bull Academy in Sogakope

Ada based football club, Denart Soccer Academy has visited Red Bull Soccer Academy at Sogakofe as part of the team’s grooming and familiarisation tour programme. Members of the club who visited the Academy house last Saturday included General Captain Solomon Ametepey, U-12 captains Isaac Torkornyoh and Agbokah Jones together with the head coach Dr. Nart aka Denart and Christian K. Adzigodi, a management member.

The visit was aimed at exposing the players to the modern techniques of football, facilities and different physical exercises and most importantly to strike a deal for a possible friendly match between the two sides.

Welcoming the team, the Team Manager of Red Bull Soccer Academy, Mr. Carlos, was full of praise and thankful for the visit. He said football has become more capital intensive and money consuming but with better benefits when well-managed and has advised the owner of the team, Denart, to put the necessary structures in place to make the team one of the best in the Dangme East District, Ada.

He promised to discuss the proposal with their management to give the Ada based side a friendly match at their Sogakofe base probably in March 2012. Mr. Carlos also took the Denart Academy team through some of their training programs as well as around some of the facilities at the Academy house.

The Denart Academy team also on the day had the opportunity of watching the Red Bull Academy side play two different matches with an Accra side in the under thirteen (13) and in the fifteen (15) categories.

He also advised both captains to take their training very seriously, respect and take instructions from their coaches which in the long run will help them to become good footballers.

The owner and Coach of Denart Soccer Academy, Dennis Narterh Adzigodi (aka Denart) was very thankful to the management of Red Bull Soccer Academy especially the Director of the Academy Mr. Pieter Groen who on the day was very cooperative with the team and promised to put what the team has come to learn into practice when the team begin its training sessions in early March 2012.

He disclosed that the team will be engaging Ashaiman based second division sides Wisbrim and Katamanso FC as well as Nungua warriors, Danbort and Africa Angels FC. The team will also play Sege based Adom FC at Big – Ada Presby Parkcoming Sunday 4th March 2012 ahead of their proposed friendly with Red Bull Academy later in the month.

Finally, he has once again called on corporate Ghana and other benevolent groups and individuals to support the Academy and other colts’ teams in the country since these junior clubs provide players for our national teams.
