David Addy misses Black Stars first training

Ghana defender David Addy sat out Tuesday’s training session in Istanbul ahead of the World Cup playoff return leg against Egypt next week.

The left-back was sidelined by an ankle problem which is being dealt with by the Black Stars medical team.

Addy, who plays for Vitoria Guimaraes, was an unused substitute in the first leg 6-1 win at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The 23-year-old has been regular this season in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
