Daniel Coleman - I age cheated to play for National Team

Defender Daniel Coleman has astonishingly revealed an orchestrated plot to get him feature for the national team by reducing his age.

The ex Hearts of Oak player however fell short of disclosing the people involved and the quantum of years slashed off his age to enable him feature for the national U-17 team, the Black Starlets.

“Officials at the national team prepared my first ever passport,” he disclosed to Kumasi-based Angel FM.

“I went to the U-17 camp and they produced the passport with 1984 as my year of birth.

“Clearly they had slashed my age so I be eligible to play for the U-17 team.”

The now ‘27-year-old’ has rejected calls to call time on his football career, insisting he still has a lot of game left in him.
