Daniel Amoah suspended for Mazembe clash

Medeama are without influential defender Daniel Amoah ahead of the side's crunch tie against TP Mazembe in a CAF Confederation Cup tie on Sunday.

Amoah, 18, is suspended for the clash and did not travel with the team to DR Congo.

The Ghana Under-20 strong centre-back picked up yellow card accumulation after being booked in the games against Al Ittihad (Libya) and Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa).

The absence of the hugely talented defender is a massive headache for coach Prince Owusu, who must plan for a decent result without his reliable centre-back.

Amoah has been a key figure for the Mauve and Yellows in their African campaign so far.

He has been tipped for greatness after excelling heavily with Ghana's Black Satellites.
